- When using RSTBRM, empty directories cannot be restored using BRMS. Users will need to use one of the other options available
- When saving Network Server Descriptions (NWSD) or Network Storage Spaces (NWSSTG) that are varied off, a single directory is saved and individual objects will not be listed in the BRMS data base. Using RSTBRM to restore for this directory will fail with BRM1688 message.
- When using RSTBRM, if restoring directories, '/directory_name/*' needs to be used
- When using RSTBRM with generics, the wild card is only allowed at the end of the path name, for example '/dir/abc*' is valid. Using a generic in the middle of the path name, for example '/dir/*abc' is not valid in BRMS and will fail with CPD3755 message.
