- Create an object list "OUTQONLY" that has just *OUTQ for type to include. (WRKLBRM)

- Create a control group called OUTQUES (WRKCTLGBRM)
- Set the control group with object detail set to *YES (optional, but creates a way to verify spooled files are saved)
- Set the control group attributes to Save spooled file data *ALL
ALL - NOTE: This applies to all of the library entries in the control group. If you have duplicate library entries that match the entries in the *OBJ list the data will be saved twice.
- When doing a recovery, use STRRCYBRM using control group "OUTQUES and select all:
- STRRCYBRM OPTION(*CTLGRP) ACTION(*RESTORE) CTLGRP((OUTQUES))
- Change the recovery defaults , Option F9, to Spool file data = *NEW
