IBM plans to withdraw the heritage Navigator for i. IBM and HelpSystems Fortra continue to work on the strategy for the BRMS product and its interfaces. As an alternative to accessing BRMS in the heritage Navigator, customers can use the BRMS commands, APIs, and SQL services.

IBM and HelpSystems Fortra have developed a multi-step plan roadmap for the futureBRMS product, including delivering a new graphical interface for the BRMS product in a phased approach. The BRMS team is currently heavily focused on ensuring that no loss of BRMS functionality occurs functionality which was lost with the removal of the heritage Navigator support by delivering immediate value through is delivered via commands, APIs, and SQL services. These replacement functions are the building blocks for future development. The BRMS strategic direction is an incremental a staged delivery of a new BRMS graphical interface in the future while continuing to balance the delivery of other customer enhancement requests.
