Reorganize the BRMS Database in Batch

The reorganize BRMS database option of the Start Maintenance for BRM (STRMNTBRM) command can be run in a batch job by specifying *BATCH for the Reorganize BRMS database (RGZBRMDB) parameter.   When a batch job is used, the STRMNTBRM command may end much sooner than the batch job which allows normal BRMS activity to be resumed while the BRMS database is being reorganized.

NOTE:

If *YES is specified for the RGZBRMDB parameter on the STRMNTBRM command and data area QUSRBRM/Q1ARGZPFM exists, the reorganize BRMS database will be run in a batch job.  To have future STRMNTBRM commands run the reorganize BRMS database in the same job as the STRMNTBRM when *YES is specified for the RGZBRMDB parameter, run the following command to delete data area QUSRBRM/Q1ARGZPFM:

     DLTDTAARA DTAARA(QUSRBRM/Q1ARGZPFM)
