GUI Software Requirements

Find out what is needed to run the GUI for BRMS

The BRMS Graphical User Interface requires the following software:

  • IBM Backup Recovery and Media Services for IBM i V5R1 or later.
  • IBM Operating System/400 - Option 18 - Media and Storage Extensions V5R1 or later.
  • IBM Client Access Express for V5R1 or later.

NOTE: Backup Recovery and Media Services for IBM i V5R1 is not required on the IBM i Navigator Central System if you do not intend to perform BRMS operations to that system. This does not prevent scheduling of BRMS operations to other Connections through the Central System.
