Direct Cloud to Cloud Movement

Media that is at a cloud location can be moved to another cloud location. Currently however, the media will be transferred back to the system that created the media and then transferred from the system back to the second cloud location. This staged transfer will use storage on the system to hold the entire media volume as it is transferred from the source cloud location to the target cloud location.

ATTENTION: If backup data in the BRMS cloud location is replicated to another cloud location, restore operations from the replicated cloud location are not supported as BRMS will be unable to recognize the replicated cloud location.

WRKMEDBRM OUTPUT(*PRINT)

In releases 7.3 and earlier, volumes that are being transferred to a cloud location will not be correctly displayed as *TRF in the Status field of the QP1AMM report.
