Managing PowerHA Policies

PowerHA policies control specific behaviors related to clustering and HA environments. Users can manage policies in the following ways:

  • Adding a PowerHA Policy
    Add a PowerHA policy to control and customize behavior within a PowerHA environment.

  • Work with PowerHA Policies
    The work with High Availability Policies (WRKHAPCY) command is used to display and work with HA policies

  • Displaying PowerHA Policies
    The Display HA Policy (DSPHAPCY) command shows the current properties of a PowerHA policy.

  • Changing PowerHA Policies
    Make modifications to a PowerHA policy using the Change HA Policy (CHGHAPCY) command.

  • Saving PowerHA Policies
    Use the Save HA Policy (SAVHCPCY) command to save instances of a PowerHA policy to a file.

  • Restoring PowerHA Policies
    Use the Restore HA Policy (RSTHAPCY) command to restore PowerHA policies to a cluster.

  • Removing PowerHA Policies
    Remove a PowerHA policy with the Remove HA Policy (RMVHAPCY) command
