Clear the SQL CLI - Q1ACLRSQL

Many BRMS operations use the SQL Call-Level Interface (CLI) with open data sources. CLI open data sources may conflict with other non-BRMS operations that use the SQL CLI in the same job. The conflicts will cause the operations to fail with message SQ99999. To avoid the SQL CLI conflicts in a job, the following commands must be run in that job:

  • CRTDTAARA DTAARA(QTEMP/Q1ACLRSQL) TYPE(*CHAR)
  • QSYS/CALL PGM(QBRM/Q1AOLD) PARM('CLSSQLENV ')


NOTE: In releases IBM i 7.1 or earlier, the following PTFs or their superseding PTFs are required:
