CFGDEVASP Command to Create IASP

Configure Device ASP (CFGDEVASP) is a command interface to create or delete an independent auxiliary storage pool (IASP). Prior to this PTF, these operations were only allowed via a GUI.

When creating an IASP through this interface, the user specifies the preferred name of the independent ASP, the type, protection, and encryption attributes of the IASP, and can either enter specific disk units or select from a list of eligible non-configured units. The IASP is created and formatted, and a device description is created.
