Considerations for QBRMS
Considerations for QBRMS
QBRMS is used in internal BRMS operations
User profile QBRMS
User profile QBRMS is used for internal BRMS operations. It has the following considerations for its use:
- Users should not use the QBRMS profile to sign on to the system or as the user profile for a batch job. It is recommended that the password for user profile QBRMS be set *NONE. To set the password to *NONE, run the following command:
CHGUSRPRF USRPRF(QBRMS) PASSWORD(*NONE)
- User profile QBRMS must be enabled. To enable the user profile, run the following command:
CHGUSRPRF USRPRF(QBRMS) STATUS(*ENABLED)
- Other user profiles may use user profile QBRMS as a group profile.
Journaling files in library QUSRBRM
BRMS manages files in QUSRBRM using journals. Changing how journaling is used on the objects in QUSRBRM will cause problems with BRMS. Users should not journal objects in QUSRBRM.
