Backup Control Group IFS Save While Active Support

Learn about the Save While Active attribute special values for use with IFS

Beginning in IBM i 7.2 and continuing through later releases, Backup Control Group IFS Entries allow these Save While Active attribute special values:

  • *ALWCKWR

  • *ALWCKSY

  • *LNKALL

  • *LNKALLS

For IFS control group list entries, the Save While Active attribute maps two separate command parameters on the SAV command. These BRMS mapping for the attribute special values are:
